Comcast corporation is the giant in global media, which was founded by Ralph Roberts in 1963. It is an American global telecommunications company and the biggest in the world in the domain of broadcasting and cable television in terms of revenue. Also Comcast is the second largest Pay-Tv company in the world.

NBCUniversal is an American conglomerate which is one of the prime leaders in the field of media. The company’s headquarter is in Comcast Building, New York. The company is mainly involved in the media mainly and is considered as one of the top networks in the USA.

4. Time Warner:

Time Warner is a media and entertainment business based in America. It was founded by Steve Ross in 1990 which happened with merger of Time Inc and Warner Communications. Time Warner is focused to provide high quality video content and incorporate new technologies to cater to the changing customer needs.

DirecTV is an American direct broadcast satellite service provider. It is currently a subsidiary of AT&T. DirecTV provides television services to its subscribers through satellite transmissions.

9. CNN:

Cable News Network which is popularly known as CNN is an American news and information delivery company. It was established to run as a 24-hour news channel by its founder Ted Turner, is owned completely by the American entertainment conglomerate Time Warner. In the initial years, it faced a lot of competition from the already established American news Channels – ‘Big Three’ (NBC, CBS and ABC) but CNN successfully delivered several important news such as Gulf War, September 11 attacks before any other news channels and thus established a reputation for itself.

Sky UK Limited is a telecommunication company. The firm operates in the United Kingdom. In the past, the company was known as British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB).

Hulu is a Walt Disney owned online streaming app which has more than 40 million subscribers worldwide. The service was launched in the year 2007 and also has minority stake from NBCUniversal. Hulu has its services active in USA as well as Japan.
